Very sad. To my knowledge he was the last wrestler to ever defeat John Miller from RSH back in the early 80's.

If it's the match that I recall. The gym was crambed tight with people. I think it was also under the light so it was dark and exstremly loud. I believe there was a fight that broke out afte words in the stands. I was to dang short to see it.... I don't believe I've ever seen a crowd like it since. I tell my kids about it every time the name of Miller or Donney comes up.

He was the last guy that ever pinned me in high school. Great wrestler - very physical and incredibly strong for a smaller guy.

Condolences to all family and friends.

Donny tossed John on his back for a split second or two in districts. Memory serves me right Miller pinned him. Donny lost in regions to Miller and then in true second match to the Olivia kid. They were ranked 1,2,3 that year. Can't remember the Olivia kids name.
