The cadet duals team is trying to find someone to fill the 88 pound cadet (1996/1997) spot on the MN dual team.

If you know of anyone that is that age/weight and might be interest, please IM the name (and contact information if you know it) or have them contact Jim Mouslaf. If noone is found to fill the spot, the team will have to forfeit that weight.

Victor Gliva wrestled 88 at Folkstyle Nationals and would be a great addition to the team.

Unfortunately, schoolboys can't bump up. Victor would be a great choice. I don't think he can make the trip. Anyone else?

How about Neil Schmalz from Becker or Jason Meyer from Pelican Rapids? Holden Youngs from Annandale/Maple Lake is another talent that could possibly make it down to 80 again.

My first choice would be Austin DeVlaeminck from Minneota but I know he is a schoolboy yet.

Another name is Garrett Aldrich from Albert Lea. He won 85 lbs this year at NYWA.

I know Skylar Hieronimus's, Adrian, name has come up as well. However, 88 is just too much of a cut for him. He was cutting hard to make 94 lbs. Skylar would be a good option at 94 lbs though; after Paul Fitterer.

If anyone has contact information on any of these kids please IM me or have them contact Jim Mouslaf.

I have verified Jason Meyer is unfortunately still a schoolboy.

Most of the kids that have been named are still school boys. One kid I am not sure of is Holden Youngs. Is he born in 1997? (1996 and 1997 are cadets)

If anyone has contact information on him, IM me or contact Jim Mouslaf.

Holden was born January of 1998. He would be interested for sure but I suppose they're strict on the date.

Kevin McGinley and MJ Okada are the right age. I am trying to get ahold of them. Garrett Caldon wrestled 106 at freestyle, so I guessing 88 would not work. Spencer Kopp appears to be a schoolboy.

I can't find any information on Noah Becker for age or contact information.

Thanks for the names, I am still hopeful we will find someone.

Noah Becker is from Browerville ( northwest of St Cloud....) does not normally wrestle USA but was very small for 106 and 103 last year for their varsity team....He competed 9th grade state at 95#
Maybe contact his coach Justin Berg jberg@browerville.k12.mn.us
He is a very strong wrestler

Greco Roman and Freestyle are the styles being used on this Cadet team, and if he doesn't normally wrestle USA, does he have any background in those styles?

He's in the Central MN wrestling club and is at practice almost always. He competed in one tournament this year and won it both styles with some tough kids in it. I think, however, that he is a schoolboy. Dave Kouri would know for sure if you can't get in contact with Noah or his parents.

My understanding is Victor is going to be able to make it after all.

Thank you everyone for your help.
