This is on Flow:

"Brayton Lee loomed large as one of the final athletes to make his college commitment. Today, the nation's top ranked 152 pounder signed his national letter of intent with the Minnesota Gophers.

Lee cements a very strong recruiting class for Brandon Eggum and his coaching staff. Joining him in Minneapolis are consensus No. 1 recruit Gable Steveson, Fargo champ Patrick McKee (No. 2 at 120), Super 32 champ Ryan Thomas (No. 6 at 160), and fellow Indiana native Kasper McIntosh (No. 8 at 145). A new 2018 Big Board is dropping Wednesday, but currently the Gophers have four Top-100 recruits."

I know nothing about Ryan Thomas but he looks like an absolute beast in his photo on Gopher Twitter page.

Go to Brayton Lee's twitter page and the first thing you'll see is Huskers Motivational Monday quote. All signs point to Nebraska
Seems too obvious......feels like a misdirection to create more drama and reaction when he chooses to reconnect with his little buddy PM. ;)
Called it!! B)

Just out of curiosity, the two biggest previous recruiting classes were '03 and the '08 ones correct? Maybe HS class of 2004 (Reiter, Rivera, Kish, CP, Kuhlman, etc.) then the (Mason, Geiger, Disney, Dietchler and whoever else)...or those, obviously the former was more successful and the latter one was a huge bust overall due to transfer, injuries, etc. My question for some Gopher History buffs is this, which recruiting class had the most 4 year starters? 2010 maybe? (Ness, Dardanes x2) Nelson was class of 2009 right? And Storley didn't redshirt so he wasn't in the same class as those 3...he was '11....and Schiller was a 3 year starter right?...I ask as I could see next year's freshman having the most in recent history if they pan out...

125: Patrick McKee
133:
141: Jake Gliva
149: Kasper McIntosh
157: Brayton Lee
165: Ryan Thomas
174:
184: Caden Steffen
197: Garrett Joles
HWT: Gable Steveson

Gophers need bodies in the lower weights. It would be nice if Gliva could stay down at 33 for his career.

Max Crowe would be a nice get.

All’s I know is things are trending in the right direction.
Less than 2 yrs removed from Xanax scandal
Eggum’s 1st real recruiting class.

Future’s bright.

I know I'm going to get yelled at but Gophers need to shoot higher than Max Crowe.

And there's probably 3 other guys on that list that are career backups.

Next year's lineup could have a ton of Seniors if they redshirt Mitch and start Gable....and if some guys decide to bump up due to growth:

125-Petry-Sr. (P. McKee replaces him the following year)
133-Lizak-Sr. (Gliva ditto)
141-Volk-Sr. (M.McKee redshirting and bulking)
149-Thorn-Sr. (McIntosh ditto)
157-Bleise-Sr. (B.Lee ditto)
165-Allar-RFr. (Thomas ditto)
174-Krone-Sr. (Allar bumps up)
184-Webster-Jr. (Steffen ditto)
197-Steveson-Jr. (Joles ditto)
Hwt.-Steveson-Fr. (Streifel-Jr.)

Including Gable not redshirting...that could mean next year's incoming freshmen could have 6 4-year starters and if Steffen and Joles pan out after a couple years in the room 2 3-year starters (unless they are able to beat out the Srs ahead of them)...

Granted this isn't a given...but just looking at the potential of this senior class and seeing the roster we have now... doesn't this seem possible?

Outside of Cade King are there any in-state uncommitted kids that are studs for the class of 2019?
