Gable wins with ease. Just to big and powerful. |

I believe Gable wins also....but as a team Simily can win this. Bumping Kerk to hvy to wrestle Gable could cost them the dual. So unless they are up by more than 12 at 220....I dont see it happening. |

What time is the dual? Think anyone would put this on YouTube? Kerk is pretty strong and very talented, I wonder how close it'd be... I am really wishing Kerk decides to re-commit to the U and spurns the pokes. My guess is Gable doesn't redshirt, so he'd be done with 3 years if Kerk came in fall 2019 and got an Olympic Redshirt, then a regular redshirt in 20/21...he'd be a 3rd year Fr. in 21/22 after Gable has had 3 years done (and hopefully 3 NCAA titles)....then Gable could redshirt and Kerk could win one...then he'd only sit one year behind Gable during his Sr. year...then win 2 more. :) Perfect. |

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've seen a few people talk about this and mention Kerkvliet could get an olympic redshirt, but wouldn't Gable also most likely get an olympic redshirt the same year which would mean neither of them are competing which would make that a wash? What am I missing here? |

Lot of guys think Gable will go the Snyder route (freestyle schedule with folk mixed in). Meaning he wouldn’t redshirt. |

I doubt Gable redshirts the 19/20 year as it's Bobby's Sr. year and the NCAA's are in his hometown...he probably wants to win gold in US Bank stadium....wearing the Gold singlet...(just a guess) |

Gable sticks him, like everyone else, he's next level! Greg is great, Gable is crazy great! Simley could keep it close, but at hwt the match won't mean anything to the dual and we'll all watch the main event. If Sokol was in... then we got a match! I hope it all happens. |

I agree, I think next year with the talent that graduates, I think he could win it...he probably won't be ranked in the top 3 right away, but I don't know who is the favorite next year that is around now. Nevills, Stoll, and Hall are the top 3 probably. White (former 197lber), Miller and Hermida are the next trio of Jrs. that are ranked around 8-11 and none of them seem so dominant they could ward off Gable. |

You've gotta think that the Jackrabbits will be going after them hard. Colton Carlson (who is the older brother of one of them) is their starting 149 pounder and thy would slot in perfectly at 133 and 141 as Gross and Pohlmeyer graduate. |

Was not very impressed with either. For Schultz to be a Greco guy he didn’t seem overly confident in any of the upper body ties they were in. |

Gable wins the Cheesehead with an 18-6 major decision over Kaukauna's Keaton Kluever a North Carolina recruit ranked 17th by InterMat. Gable pinned him in 1:53 at the Christmas Tournament in December. Was hoping he could maintain his pin streak, but it's actually good for him to wrestle an entire match. He won't get that opportunity very often this year. |

He actually looked gassed and was dinged for a point after losing his cool and slapping Kluever across the face. Kluever gave him a legit look but Gable was just to much at the end even though neither had much left in the tank at the end. |

Was looking at JC rankings, anyone notice, at least 3 of the top ranked guys have ties to MN (HS or college). 141-Austin Anderly (class of '15--don't know if he wrestled anywhere else before that as theguillotine had him going to UWLX in 15/16 but no results on their page). 165-Dayton Racer-Clackamas 174-Dylan Reel--Clackamas (what year is he now? I didn't see him in the 2016 or 2017 results) Anyone know where these guys are going next year? |

I'm not at all interested in having Dayton Racer in the room with his reputation. Dylan Reel was a Gopher and probably left for a reason. |
