Yeah, I forgot about Kamal Bey. I know he's at the OTC for his senior year, but haven't heard his college recruitment news. He is a huge Greco guy, and the Storm do very well in that..... Maybe? 174?
Unless he is a "Pico situation", only with Greco... And last I had heard White had some connection with Nebraska?

I'm hoping PapaBear has some insight ;)

Yeah, I'm don't think he's on the same level as an Aaron Pico, so I doubt that... could be wrong, but I don't think so

Of course, not saying that he is on the same level as Pico as far as success, just saying the situation is similar. Foregoing NCAA level wrestling to train for the Olympics.

I think it as more of the Snyder route. Opting to go to OTC for senior year and probably wrestling college

I know Brady Berge has always been a fan of Iowa, but does anyone think he might change his mind since big bro is at UofM? I truly hope we land him!

Flo's top 3 at 160 are currently...

1. Alex Marinelli, Sr.
2. Brady Berge, Jr
3. Kaleb Young, Sr.

For what it's worth, 1 and 3 are already signed with Iowa.

What do the Hawkeyes have at 174. That's the weight Berge will probably land.

Jack Bass transfers to Old Dominion. I assume he saw the writing on the wall as far as depth chart and decided to go closer to home. Note that is a complete assumption.

Brady will be a Gopher.
Broc Berge is going 184 at the scuffle. If he can win the starting job, that may help landing Brady.

So Brady will base his college decision on whether his brother was able to earn a starting spot? sigh

If Broc is enjoying his time wrestling for the Gophers, that may be a positive influence for Brady's choice.

It would be a huge to land Brady. He is definitely a special talent.

I also think the next in-state target has to be Alex Lloyd. This sophomore is on the rise and tough as nails. I think he will be a stud at the next level as well!

Yes. Total space on Gable. HE AND Lloyd would be two parts of an awesome 2018 recruiting class!!

At the Clash, I saw Isaiah White wearing a gopher sweatshirt. Could be good news. Keep them coming OPRF

I had heard that Isaiah was a little late in realizing the importance of good grades and although he did realize it, and did what he was suppose to do by bring those grades up like he was capable of doing he still might have to wait a season to join the Gophers. I actually am very pleased to hear this if it is true since it shows growth and maturity. Whether he ends up with the Gophers or not I think he is already a winner.

Don't get me wrong, I want the young man on our team, very very much, I'm just already impressed with his growth.

Go Gophers

I believe it was posted elsewhere that he qualified with his SAT scores or something like that

Qualifying for college and being ready for it are two different things.

I would like to see White come here, but hasn't been 152 lbs the last two seasons, which could mean he is done growing. That would put him about the same size as Stroker and Early. 165/174 will be more of a need, but who knows maybe one of them will grow.
