Lavalle, Graham, Gunnels, Ortiz, Fisher, and Rau competing for the Storm in Greco.
Jake Deutchlander from BSM is wrestling under Sunkist Kids in Greco from AZ. He might be at AZ St?
Mason Manville is wrestling both styles. So, there's that.
Nathan Tomasello from Ohio State is giving FS a go.
No Storm guys in the FS portion. Lots of talent in the field and plenty of stories to follow. Excited for the new Olympic year to start up.

Jake Clark should be there, too. Wrestling under his new club Wrestle/Jitsu :P

Good luck to all the competitors.
I've got a slow day tomorrow, hope to follow a match or two

Deutchlander is at ASU.

I think Dardanes plural, Sanders, Jayson Ness, Tony Nelson and Scott Schiller are competing in the freestyle portion. I will try to find the article I am thinking of.

I just didn't see any Storm FS names on Track. Good to hear, though.

Freestyle weighs in tomorrow. They might not have been pre-registered but it doesn't mean they aren't there. I was following the Greco entrants, there ended up being more than those pre-registered. So guess we'll see.

Ness lost first round 6-8 to 2004 Olympic Gold medalist Ji Hyun Jung (Korea). I believe Jung also won a couple world medals, latest being 2010. Ness must be pretty big wrestling 145lbs.

Thats a pretty good score, considering its his first time out, and who the competitor was.

If you have Flo, you gotta go watch the Ness vs. Rice match. The back to back 5 pt. throws were awesome. You won't have to look for the video. It is at the top of the page.

So you're saying now's the time of the year to pony up for Flo again?

I just got my reminder email from College Sports Live & I'm sure BTN PLUS will need some money too.......... B)

I don't follow Dylan Ness on Twitter (maybe I could now that he is out of college without feeling creepy about it), but I do follow Bader from Flo. Caught an exchange involving Bader and others where Dylan was saying that he was looking to learn a takedown after this tournament. In his last match he was looking to score and firing off multiple shots in the last match that did little against the solid defense of the person he was wrestling. It was the craziest thing. A couple of times, a frustrated Ness literally raised his arms straight out to the side and left them there begging for a body lock or double unders from the other guy so that he could force a scramble or some action. It didn't work for him (it didn't hurt him either), but it was unique and entertaining.

People really forgot how dirty Dylan's lift is. I guess I understand that with his funk in folkstyle, we've missed it for a few years.

But it ain't nothing new. He had the filthiest lift 4-5 years ago when he was in HS/Fargo. Awesome to see that come back.
