Gross
Hall (MI)

Streifel and Benick wrestle today. Streifel has secured a spot in the finals best of three.

1st round- #2 seed Benick got worked pretty good. Looked gassed and was pinned at the end of the match.

Cons 1st Round- Benick loses 7-0. He didn't look healthy. No shots and looked tired a minute into the match. 0-2 tofu day for Benick.

**Of note A Cassar (Macintosh's replacement at PSU) coming back from a serious shoulder injury rehurt his shoulder and defaulted. He was dominating before the injury.

Yanni will most likely ask for a wrestle-off with Gross at the OTC. I believe he has the right to do so.

Interesting. If it happens I hope Gross woops him. McKee had the right to postpone it to another date because he wrestled at Beat The Streets. So, Yianni can postpone it because he had a cough? Wonder if McKee would have postponed it...would Yianni have wrestled this weekend?

If the goal is to send the best team to the junior worlds, then Yianni should have a wrestle-off. He was a world champion last year. He has earned it. Although, he did not make the national finals a month ago which may hurt his credibility. I like McKee a lot, and I think he beats Gross if he wasn't hustling from New York to Dallas from the beat the streets performance, but I think Yianni would give McKee a lot of trouble.
