16-11 Lewan. Great effort by Germinaro giving up a bit of weight.

MN should have this one with the wins at 100 and 106.
Should get a win at 126 also.. the rest will be very tough matches.
I knew illinois was tough in the middle but with a big lead and robb, mckee x2, allar, jones and webster left it was over after 106. Jones had maybe the most impressive win imo.

Looks like Oklahoma and Illinois are bringing in reinforcement s for free. Now that grecos done nj will show up with a tough team as well. Should be dog fight between those three and
Mn.

has mn ever won free and greco for juniors ?

Congrats! Dominating win against a very good IL team. Won 11 of 16 matches with six of them for bonus points. Also impressive is winning three non pin matches without giving up a point, which results in three less points for IL.

Venz bumps up to 195 and gets the fall
Moore wrestling Illinois state champ at 220 now - gets a 11-0 win
When was Villalobos a state champ? Don't see him in Illinois state folk anywhere.

That's what they announced when he wrestled. Looks like he was a cadet freestyle and greco state champ last week.

Matt Peterson and Ashton Clark had two of the biggest wins. If those two toss-up matches go the other way, it would have changed the momentum of the whole dual. Obviously, Jones's win was huge - If Townsell hadn't been tech'd, they would have given him a standing 8 count.

Of the 480 Gold/Silver and Bronze/Copper matches only 7 (1.5%) of the matches were 3 team point shutouts.

Why do the top seeds have a prelim/pigtail dual? Seems counter-intuitive.
