Good win, especially considering Jones and Jeske getting pinned, and Mitch dropping one.
McKee was up at 145, Sammy may be a 138 pounder as well but he didn't weigh in there. He would never make an excuse but I'll take Mitch in a rematch where they both weigh in together, his squeeze strength rivals Ivan Drago's punching power.

Jones was one of those "things happen" in international style matches, it wasn't a bad call but it was a freak pin during a rollthrough Brent was controlling.

Jeske was wresting an absolute hammer, the kind of kid that people from PA probably would have said "with Hong losing we still won" had things went differently.

These tournaments are a ridiculous grind, you'll notice lots of teams rolling in reinforcements that didn't battle through half a dozen greco matches before starting the freestyle tournament, Gfeller and Fix for OK are as tough as anyone and neither made weight or grinded out 4-7 Greco matches.

In the PA dual starting out with 24 points for guys named Gliva and 3 for guys not named Gliva was nice, Bergeland stayed on a terror and Epps and Allar both had very nice wins. How about Peterson wrestling every match at 100 for the the team in both styles including the clincher against OK today, tough!

I'm just glad it's Saturday tomorrow so I can continue my binge watching without people at work bothering me...

Michigan Blue around 9am and then Ohio following by a medal match, sleep well and get ready for battle tomorrow team MN!
Mitch is an absolute stud and would take him in a rematch as well. No bigger fan of his than me. Jones has been great in this tourney. Let's go get them tomorrow.

Nice win just moments ago by Allar vs Wyatt Sheets!
Big win over a 4X Oklahoma state champ. Mckee and Crowe each beat 3X OK state champs as well. Awesome dual.

Nice win by Minnesota yesterday but Illinois looks to be the team to beat with dominate wins over PA and OK.

Agreed about IL. Why did they forfeit all those matches against OK though? I know, to rest them when they match up against MN.
MN is hands down the hardest working wrestlers on the mat! We don't forfeit, we wrestle! Greco and freestyle.

They've done that in a few rounds. Once the get an insurmountable lead, they forfeit the rest.

Our guys rest the old fashion way - between duals.

According to Track... Makes sense, with the result. It takes some major talent to tech a kid like Webster, even coming off injury.

Both matches locked up (NJ winning and MN not) - good to see Ohio wrestling it out.

Nice win by Nick Knutson over Zemua Baptista from Nebraska. Baptista signed to wrestle at Iowa State earlier this year.
