Damn 6 hours of recording each day, my DVR will be full in no time. The worst part is we will be lucky to get 1 hour of coverage in a day. |

Forget the DVR, every match will be available live and for replay online for free on http://www.nbcolympics.com/wrestling, I've been watching replays of events that I missed and it works pretty slick. No reason not to watch every minute of every match of wrestling at the Olympics, Here's the schedule for 8/14: http://www.nbcolympics.com/live-stream-schedule/wrestling?day=9 You can even set up e-mail reminders. |

Rugby was a pleasant surprise, I really enjoyed the few games I have tuned into. Anyone else catch the boxing? It has been great, they ditched the head gear and allowed professionals in. The young fighters are hungry and have been pulling out some great upsets. |

Loved the Jordan Burroughs video. We had a chance to meet him on a recruiting visit in Nebraska-super nice guy, great role model for wrestlers to look up too. Didnt mind taking a few minutes to let us get a photo with him. Best of luck to all the competitors! |

Just an fyi, my cable listings are different than the channels listed above. Most of the finals are on NBCSN but the qualifying rounds were listed all over the place between MSNBC, CNBC, and USA. Edited by mndak, Aug 13 2016, 09:56 AM.

So it looks like wrestling has started. I'll try to post the mat number for Thielke and Bisek when they show up on Trackwrestling. It appears that they are wrestling 59 and 75 on all three mats.

Bisek has they Croatian who beat Cebi from TUR. Cebi was last year's world champ at 80KG. I don't know if that's a positive or not. Winner of their bout gets winner of CHN and Vlasov. |

Bisek drops his match. Croation has World Champ Vlasov in his semi. Croatia needs to win in order to bring Bisek back into repechage. Thielke's opponent Bayramov lost by fall to Japan, knocking him out of the tournament. That was a major upset. |

Why did USA challenge in thielke's match? I am in no way a Greco enthusiast but I don't see anything that could have helped thielke's only the negative result of adding more points to his opponent which happened. |
